Join the American Hospital Association (AHA), expert thought leaders and health care executives concerned with workforce challenges for an insightful discussion about the imperative to maximize workforce operations. This event is part of a series of Critical Conversations across the country bringing together health providers, solution partners and AHA leaders.
You’re invited to join the AHA to discuss today’s challenges in leading, operating and managing workforce functions in health care organizations. Based on the work completed by the AHA’s 2016 Committee on Performance Improvement, we will discuss:
- Key workforce issues identified in the AHA Committee on Performance Improvement report The Imperative for Strategic Workforce Planning and Development: Challenges and Opportunities
- How three health care executives’ innovative workforce strategies in areas such as recruiting and talent engagement led to improved operational, financial and patient outcomes
- Participants’ own workforce challenges and what they are doing to address them
You will hear from executives of three organizations who are addressing the challenges and succeeding. In addition, we’ve invited colleagues from the AHA to provide a national perspective of work underway to address workforce challenges across organizations.
This complimentary, invitation-only event is an opportunity to discuss in an intimate setting the challenges and solutions to operating human resource functions.
