In this 60-minute webinar, Chris Cimino will provide an update on key developments in 2025 involving healthcare union organizing and forecast what Healthcare leaders may face in 2026. During the presentation, Chris will discuss the 2026 ASHHRA Healthcare Labor Activity Report and related materials. The ASHHRA Healthcare Labor Activity report is a streamlined tool to support informed decision-making and action planning. As in past years, this year’s webinar also provides ASHHRA members with a PowerPoint you can use to share essential elements of the report with board members and members of your leadership team.

Objectives:

1. Understand the impact of the newly reconstituted National Labor Relations Board and explore what HR leaders can expect as well as how changes may influence labor policy.
2. Examine workforce challenges and union tactics by analyzing how staffing and workload issues increase vulnerability to union organizing and reviewing the latest strategies unions use to target healthcare employees.
